Diploma in Acting : Course is Designed Considering that the student joining the course, are fresh from schools
This course would help a Student:
1.To Discover their hidden acting potential , To get in touch with the self
2.To enhance sensitivity
Acting programme will enable a student to draw from his/her own creativity and attain proficiency in capturing and fascinating the audience through powerful portrayal of human emotions.
The classes will be held on physical fitness, yoga, voice modulations, music and Theatre acting.
The main objective will be to provide well trained actors suitable to the growing demands of the Film and Television Industry.
Considering that the student joining the course, are fresh from schools it is important to draw their attention to the realities, they will be facing by choosing the career of Acting in Theatre , Film and Television Industry.
All the theoretical topics are supported by Practical, Emphasis is given on Practical exercises for the course.
We use multimedia presentations, illustrations, stories, guided tours and any other Audio Visual means during the course. Interaction with students is also vital to make the subject interesting.
Our first objective of is to understand student ability or limitation. This will help us to evaluate a student progress, both qualitative and quantitative for an assignment.

The Body : The actor’s primary instruments are the body, the mind, the breath, the voice, the feelings and the senses.The training of the body is accomplished through progressive series of games, exercises, mime and mask studies, creative dance, gymnastics, clowning techniques, and martial arts elements.
The Voice : Students are trained to breathe more efficiently, to gain control of breathing technique and enhance their capacities.Voice and speech training is accomplished through a carefully designed series of exercises, story-telling, news-reading, script-reading, gibberish improvisations, singing, chanting, word-games, radio plays, interviews, and the performance projects.
The Mind : The key operations and skill that are developed are: concentration/focus, belief, curiosity/questioning, creativity/imagination, making choices and decisions, spontaneity/intuition, reflection and memory and interpersonal skills.
Improvisation/Acting : Improvising for the actor is the ability to think and create . During the course, students are challenged with numerous acting exercises and scene work, Analysis of script, use of costumes, properties and make up, Focus- outer,inner,double, switch over, Basic elements of Realistic acting, Relationship with co artists, and actual film- shooting experience.
Performance Projects : Dance Drama,Location-based Character Study ,Exercise, Street Play, Scene Work of Play/Film Texts.

The Professional Career : With technical and aesthetic aspects of an actor’s education, the course syllabus instruct students in the launching and building of their careers as actors. Our faculty, supported by guest speakers from the worlds of film, television, radio, theatre and advertising, share their awareness and experience of how these businesses operate and what is expected of an actor when seeking employment.
