Duration :3 Months basic drawing painting + 3 Months Digital painting
Sessions : 60 Sessions Each 2 Hours. Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques (such as watercolor, oils, Acrylic, etc.) are applied by means of a computer, a digitizing tablet and stylus, and software. You will work with a Wacom tablet and Adobe Photoshop.

About Digital Painters

Digital painters work with 2D drawn animation, 2D computer animation, and 3D digital computer animation. They add color to images created by animators and work as part of a team consisting of compositors, color key artists, scanners, and color stylists. The entire team works under the direction of the head of digital color and compositing

Overview of Digital Painting

Introduction to Photoshop and the Wacom Tablet

Introduction to the Photoshop interface and basic use of the Wacom digital tablet. Students will learn to attach the tablet to the computer, launch Photoshop, access the basic Photoshop tools, and be introduced to drawing with a digital stylus using the Photoshop brush tool.

Fundamentals of Perspective

Final Project: Digital Painting of a Fantasy or Science Fiction in Perspective
Students create a digital painting of a city in 1pt, 2pt, or 3pt perspective employing advanced painting techniques learned throughout the semester.
